About me

I qualified from the Birmingham School of Podiatry in 1999 with a First Class Honours degree and have since worked for both the NHS and the private sector.

I currently work as a Senior Specialist Podiatrist as part of the multidisciplinary team at Solihull Diabetic Foot Clinic, where I provide assessment and treatment for complex, high risk diabetic patients. My role in this clinic involves treating patients with complications such as foot ulceration, vascular disease (reduced blood supply) and peripheral neuropathy (loss of feeling), and has enabled me to lecture and provide training in the management of the diabetic foot to other health professionals.

As an

HCPC registered

practitioner, I am required to complete regular continued professional development (CPD) in order to stay up-to-date with advances in practice, ensure high standards of treatment and to maintain my current registration. I am also a member of the

Society of Chiropodists and Podiatrists

which is the professional governing body.
